JOB DESCRIPTION

The RolePart-time (0.6 FTE), Ongoing, Term Time OnlyWe welcome applications from experienced career practitioners to join our learning community on an ongoing basis, commencing Term 2, 2021 (starting date negotiable). This is a 3 day per week position with flexibility on days. The role is part of the Careers team reporting to the Head of Careers. As part of the role you will be responsible for providing vocational and career counselling support for the College Community, and collaborating with the Careers team in developing and maintaining Career Education Programs within the College. About You

  • VIT Registration
  • Appropriate post-graduate qualifications in career development
  • Possess a strong working knowledge of the Victorian Certificate of Education and VET study options
  • Experience providing one on one careers counselling services for students, parents and the wider school community
  • An understanding of the VTAC process, tertiary selection and change of preference counselling, and post school options
  • Innovative and technology savvy
