The Australian National University (ANU) is seeking to appoint a dynamic and creative thought leader who is deeply invested in promoting student and staff wellbeing and experiences by driving the creation of an inclusive, diverse, equitable and accessible work and study environment as the Director, University Experience.

The newly created position of Director, University Experience within the Student and University Experience Portfolio is a University-focused professional leadership role with a significant emphasis on fostering student and staff success and wellbeing. Serving as a key connection between staff, students and key partners of the University, the Director, University Experience will draw upon national and global best practices and emerging trends in student and staff transition, retention and engagement to drive the development and provision of transformative experiences at the University for around 20,000 students and 4,000 staff from all backgrounds. This includes overseeing programs in relation to wellbeing, respectful relationships, health, and counselling services, supporting on campus experiences by building and leading a collaborative campus life strategy to transform existing precincts, such as Kambri and University House, and developing other centres to create a holistic, curated University experience.
