About This Opportunity


The Faculty of Engineering, Architecture and Information Technology is seeking an experienced Learning Designer to provide support to EAIT’s academic staff designing curriculum, assessments, and active and flexible pedagogies to enhance teaching quality in courses and coursework programs within the Faculty.


This position is located at our picturesque St Lucia campus, renowned as one of Australia’s most attractive university campuses, and located just 7km from Brisbane’s city centre. Bounded by the Brisbane River on three sides, and with outstanding public transport connections, our 114-hectare site provides a perfect work environment – you can enjoy the best of both worlds: a vibrant campus with the tradition of an established university.


Our Ideal Candidate


Applicants should possess relevant experience in Learning/Educational/Instructional Design, preferably with an emphasis on developing resources for learning within the higher education sector with demonstrated experience in developing online and on-campus resources informed by an understanding of how higher education students learn.


The successful candidate will have a demonstrated ability to design and deliver professional learning in the development of learning assets using appropriate technologies for learning and teaching purposes with the ability to provide both leadership and practical support on curriculum, pedagogy and assessment to a variety of stakeholders.

What We Can Offer


This is a full-time, continuing position at HEW level 7 however flexible working arrangements may be negotiated.


The full-time equivalent base salary will be in the range $88,763.14-$96,783.71 plus super of up to 17%. The total FTE package will be in the range $103,852 - $113,236
