Key responsibilities include:

Ability to teach a combination of 7-10 English
Experience teaching Stage 6 Advanced English, Standard English and English Extension 1
Ability to cater to different learning abilities, including EAL/D and selective stream
Demonstrating a high standard of competency and proficiency as a classroom teacher
Being a contemporary leader of learning, with the capacity to lead change and demonstrate contemporary pedagogy and innovative classroom practices that focuses on improving student learning;
Developing and implementing a School wide Literacy Action Plan
Working with other leaders to develop and implement an effective school wide Reading Program

You will need:

Appropriate teaching qualifications and accreditation in NSW
Demonstrated excellent communication and interpersonal skills, critical analysis and problem-solving skills
Ability to work as part of a team & effectively communicate with a variety of stakeholders and build relationships to meet the College’s strategic directions
Ability to analyse and use data to inform learning and engage in future planning
An understanding of and commitment to the School’s Christian framework, values and ethos
