Reach Community College requires qualified trainers and assessors for the delivery of the following hospitality management qualifications:
- SIT50416 Diploma of Hospitality Management
- SIT60316 Advanced Diploma of Hospitality Management
Successful applicants must possess the following:
- Current training and assessment credentials in compliance with RTO Standard 2015, clause 1.14.
- TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, and one of the following units of competency:
- TAELLN411 or TAELLN401A (or their successor), and one of the following units of competency, TAEASS502 or TAEASS502A orTAEASS502B (or their successor);
OR
- TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or its successor,
OR
- Diploma or higher-level qualification in adult education
- Appropriate qualifications, registration/membership/licensing and experience relevant to industry and position.
- Relevant academic qualifications in Hospitality Management to demonstrate vocational competency.
- High level of professionalism when working with other stakeholders e.g. students, trainers and non-academic staff.
- Well-developed computer skills, particularly Office 365 and online delivery methodologies.
- Ability to resolve and manage student complaints and students matters
- Competent knowledge of ASQA compliance and other applicable standards and legislation
Desirable knowledge and skills:
- Hold a valid AQF certification documentation in SIT50416 Diploma of Hospitality Management and SIT60316 Advanced Diploma of Hospitality Management OR willingness to obtain these academic qualifications if successful.
- Experience providing training and assessment in the vocational education and training sector.
- Holds valid Australian driver’s licence.
- Commitment to undertake continuous professional development relevant to industry and job role.
