Our Team

anzuk Education's Independent and Faith-based Schools Team was created in 2015 to assist educators in finding contract or ongoing employment. Today we work collaboratively with over 200 Independent and faith-based Schools throughout Australia.

The Schools & Location

anzuk Education are working to support two leading co-educational schools in western NSW. Both are high achieving schools with a strong emphasis on supporting their local community. With excellent academic outcomes in the 2020 HSC, both offer well-rounded opportunities for their students.

School 1:
  • 7-12 Catholic high school in western NSW with enrolments of nearly 700
  • In a large regional city of over 20,000 people 6hrs from Sydney
  • Fully furnished accommodation available at market rent

School 2:
  • K-12 independent boarding school in western NSW with enrolments of over 500
  • 5hrs from Sydney
  • In a large regional city of over 40,000 people; multiple flights to Sydney daily
  • Serviced accommodation provided for the duration of Term 1 to support your transition

The Roles and You

Commencing January 2021 (or later in Term 1 by negotiation),

Role 1:
  • Junior HSIE/English (Yr7-10)
  • Two streams per year, meaning content is covered twice by individual classes (meaning streamlined planning and programming)
  • Ideal for early career teachers looking to develop their career and experience

Role 2:
  • Yr7-12 English, with experience in HSC Advanced preferred (but not essential)
  • Excellent opportunity to gain experience teaching HSC classes
  • Gain exposure to teaching within an independent school setting

Digital interviews are available for these position and temporary accommodation options can be offered by the respective school. Graduate teachers are encouraged to apply.

  • Ability to supply two referees from recent school-based employment or, if newly qualified, your last two placement reports (please note referees will not be contacted prior to your express approval and all applications will be treated in confidence)
