  • Full-time (37.5 hours per week), fixed-term 12-month contract
  • Not for profit, member-based organisation located in the Sydney CBD (remote working is available)

About us

The Australasian Society for HIV, Viral Hepatitis and Sexual Health Medicine (ASHM) is a professional, not-for-profit, member-based organisation. It supports its members, sector partners and collaborators to generate knowledge and action in clinical management and research, education, policy and advocacy in Australasia and internationally.

About you

The Sexual Health Program Manager sits within the National Policy and Education Division and manages all components of the relevant ASHM programs in Australia and New Zealand related to sexual and reproductive health. Key activities and areas of work include management of relationships, new business development, expanding the scope of ASHM's work in sexual and reproductive health, high-level policy input, partnership development, management of deliverables within content-specific areas, maintenance of budgets, supervision of staff and reporting.

Candidates must have a tertiary qualification in health, fields allied to health, education, strategy or business management. With your previous experience in the successful management of projects, budgets and financial reporting and with a demonstrated understanding of adult learning principles, you will be confident at establishing and maintaining stakeholder relationships at an operational and strategic level. Experience in managing a team working across multiple projects, including performance management and professional development is essential.

Benefits

ASHM provides a flexible and supportive working environment. The base/taxable salary for this position is $86,348 per annum plus 10% superannuation, time off in lieu, leave loading and full non-taxable fringe benefit salary packaging equals total remuneration of $104,331 per annum.
